Bibbings & Hensby

Bespoke, contemporary designs done with traditional, handcraft techniques really is a dream combination and these guys know how to make it work.

After studying fine furniture making together, Jack and Matthew decided to open their workshop in 2017 with the aim of channelling the humanity and warmth of using hand tools and traditional techniques with modern and stylish design. This unique viewpoint combined with the majority of their work being bespoke designs and their cutting tools being made by a Swedish artisan, each of their pieces truly are one-of-a-kind.

Sustainability is a big factor in everything they do. They try to keep things as local as possible, even selecting the specific trees themselves from small scale woodlands around London to use for their chairs. They have a very high attention to detail and always make sure to find the very best of all of our homegrown stock whenever they come to visit and we are always excited to see what they do with it.

This London based duo are the real deal.
