GiB Certifed Timber

Grown in Britain certified timber is sourced from British forests felled under license from the Forestry Commission or as part of a management plan agreed in accordance with the UK Woodland Assurance Standard (UKWAS). This standard also provdes the central component of the forest certification programmes operated in the UK by the FSC® & PEFC™ schemes.

GiB Chain of Custody

We are actively involved in Grown in Britain, an initiative to support the UK forestry & timber industry. We use Grown in Britain to label our British grown and were one of the first holders of the Grown in Britain Certificates. We hold chain of custody timber certification for category 2 GIB-FP & category 4 GiB-LO under license GiB-FPLO-CU-5013.
