and it’s down to you!
Remember all those emails you received from us back in April and May? All those Instagram, Facebook and Twitter posts asking you to Vote For Us? Boy did we go on, and on.
It was the first time the Timber Trades Journal had ever opened up the awards to online voting and it turns out you exercised your rights as bonafide timber buyers and voted in your droves.
Now, because of you we’re Small Timber Business of the Year!
On Friday September the 13th we made our way to the TTJ Awards at the Hilton Bankside Hotel in London as guests of the wonderful people at Combilift.
We got the surprise of our lives when guest presenter Zoe Lyons read out our name as winner of the Timber Trades Journal Award for “Small Timber Business of the Year 2019”.
Tom went up to receive the award and came back beaming.
We spent of the rest of the afternoon a little stunned and utterly thrilled.
It’s Down To You
Everything we said back in the spring is true… we’re only here (and winning awards) because you’re here. So we want to give you a big, virtual hug and say Thank You and to tell you we think you are absolutely superb people.
We hope we can do the same for you one day.
We’d love to be able to vote for our own customers in the Wood Awards or the Structural Timber Awards or as RIBA Award so wood people, get designing, get making, get building and call on us when you’re ready to put yourself up for an award or enter a competition. We’ll be behind you all the way.
And here it is… our award, yours and ours.
If you voted for us come in and share it with us, you deserve it.
Now what can we do to thank you? Hmmmm… another Rack Sale maybe?! 🙂
