Monkey See Monkey Cake

I wasn’t here on Friday…

but I wish I had been.

This handcrafted morsel made an appearance in aid of the A.Y.M.E. (the Association of Young people suffering from ME).

To say the guys here were delighted to be ‘guinea pigs’ is the epitome of understatement!

Here are the monkey cake baking sock monkey sewing culprits themselves…

ladies and gentleman, put your hands together please for the 1st Aldingbourne Guides!!!!!

So over 100 sock monkeys are now swinging their way through forests of mail to comfort, inspire and delight  boys and girls who are suffering from ME, all lovingly made by the hands of these fantastic young ladies.

Well done you cheeky monkeys!!

Dad.. I mean Graham.. is very proud of what his daughter and her gang have achieved, and we are too.

Find out more about the Association of Young People with ME  http://www.ayme.org.uk/  and why these girls have gone to so much trouble to help.

Sorry you missed the cake but we hope the others enjoyed it. If we make some more cake you will be the the first to be a guinea pig.
